Collaborations with Patient Organisations

The pharmaceutical companies subject to the Code of Practice for the Pharmaceutical Industry publicly inform since 2009 of their collaborations with patient organisations. Additionally, since 2013, this information includes collaboration and service agreements. The name of the patient organisation, scope and nature of the collaboration, amount and services contracted are indicated.

Collaboration between pharmaceutical companies and patient organisations is recorded in writing, describing at least: activities to be carried out, level and sources of funding, purpose of said funding, relevant indirect support (ex.: free availability of their public relations agencies) and any other type of non-financial collaboration that may be relevant. Pharmaceutical companies shall establish a process to approve this type of collaborations prior to their taking place.

Colaboraciones con Organizaciones de Pacientes

Las compañías farmacéuticas sujetas al Código de Buenas Prácticas de la Industria Farmacéutica informan públicamente desde 2009 de las colaboraciones que desarrollan con organizaciones de pacientes. Adicionalmente, desde 2013, esta información incluye los acuerdos de colaboración y de prestación de servicios. Se indica el nombre de la organización de pacientes, el alcance y naturaleza de la colaboración, su importe y los servicios contratados.

La colaboración entre compañías farmacéuticas y organizaciones de pacientes se documenta por escrito, debiendo describir al menos: las actividades a desarrollar, nivel y fuentes de financiación, el propósito de dicha financiación, apoyos indirectos relevantes (ej.: puesta a disposición con carácter gratuito de los servicios prestados por sus agencias de relaciones públicas) y cualquier otro tipo de colaboración no financiera que resulte relevante. Las compañías farmacéuticas establecerán un procedimiento para aprobar este tipo de colaboraciones con carácter previo a su desarrollo.

Esta información deberá publicarse durante el primer semestre de cada año incluyendo las actividades que se hayan realizado en el año anterior.

En el listado mostrado a continuación, únicamente figuran aquellas compañías farmacéuticas que han colaborado con Organizaciones de Pacientes el año anterior.
This information must be published during the first semester of each year including the activities that were carried out the previous year.

The list published below, exclusively includes those companies that have collaborated with Patient Organizations during the previous year.
